Turks and Caicos Islands

We were in the Turks and Caicos Islands between March 28 and April 2011. Our vacations were usually quite hectic as my wife liked to fill all the available time doing something. I prefer to take breaks e.g. one day rushing around and one day chilling out. We didn’t have such a problem here, however. At that time the Turks and Caicos Islands were just beginning their tourist industry and there really wasn’t a lot to do. You could laze around your hotel; visit one of the hotels and maybe have a meal or drinks there as there didn’t seem to be many restaurants etc.; some of the hotels had spas you could try out; and you could go out on a boat somewhere. That was about it. So, all in all it was a pleasant, tranquil, relaxing vacation. I think we both enjoyed it.

P.S. the cat adopted us. It came up to our room early in our stay and we made the mistake of giving it some milk. After that it returned every day we were there for some more.
